Sisters only. A weekly Islamic studies class held every Tuesday at Qadria Jilania Islamic Centre in Longsight, taught by Ustadha Humera Shah.
What We Cover
- Tafseer — working through the meaning of the Quran
- Hadith
- Fiqh — the rulings of everyday worship and conduct
- Seerah — the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ
These are foundational classes, taught in a way that assumes no prior study.
Joining Over Skype
The class can also be joined remotely over Skype, which helps if you are working, unwell, caring for someone at home, or unable to travel.
Who It Is For
Sisters of all backgrounds and all levels. You do not need to read Arabic and you do not need to have attended before. Many who come have not studied since childhood.
