Our annual Giyarhwin Sharif gathering marking 11 Rabi al-Thani, the Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah be pleased with him), known as Ghawth al-Azam.

About the Occasion

Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was a scholar and spiritual guide of twelfth-century Baghdad whose teaching emphasised sincerity, adherence to the Sunnah, and care for the poor. The Qadri tradition that traces back to him remains one of the most widely followed spiritual paths in the Muslim world.
